The Flow heats the water when it is ready to mop. You don’t have to use the solution, the hot water the flow uses is probably sufficient. Though I will say FWIW the cleaning solution that is designed for it is VERY THIN and you use little product. We put one cap in the entire mop tank and it’s very effective.
